Parallax Sangha #6: Tom Amarque - Aleister Crowley and Magick
from Parallax · host Andrew Sweeny
Tom Amarque talks to Andrew Sweeny and Owen Cox about the legendary Aleister Crowley, the English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer—a hero to some, a notorious satanist to others. Tom Amarque is the editor-in-chief of Phänomen Verlag, a German book publishing house, and the founder of Parallax-Magazine, which is a heterodox media hub. He is a philosopher, podcaster, author and occasional translator. He currently lives in Mallorca, Spain. Tom has practised various forms of meditation and other techniques for over 25 years. His philosophical approach is a subject philosophy which centres around volition, self-reference/autopoiesis and the architecture of the development of psyche and culture. What is Parallax Sangha? Parallax Sangha is a digital classroom and living community dedicated to studying, practising, and contemplating matters of the soul and psyche. We are a network of friends, writers, teachers, and podcasters offering online study circles, classes, and offline events all over Europe.
