Parallel Passages: Deut 6

A portion of Moses's speech to the ancient Israelites in Deuteronomy has been titled "The Shema" and has become a very important part of the devout's daily prayer life. This was true in Jesus's time also and He references it to highlight the role of His followers in their community and culture. I hope this parallel teaching back to the OT is helpful in your daily walk. Thank you for listening.
