PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (2007) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Review & Discussion

Achara & Alli react to Paranormal Activity (2007), a found-footage horror film that follows a couple who begin experiencing disturbing supernatural events in their home, capturing everything on camera in an attempt to understand what’s haunting them. As the nights grow more intense and the presence becomes more aggressive, the film builds tension through minimalism, silence, and slow escalation rather than traditional jump scares. This reaction stands out for its suspense-driven atmosphere and psychological unease, as Achara & Alli experience the film’s creeping dread, unsettling moments, and infamous nighttime sequences in real time. Directed by Oren Peli (Insidious franchise producing, Chernobyl Diaries, Paranormal Activity series, Area 51, supernatural horror projects), the film stars Katie Featherston (Paranormal Activity series, The River, reality-style horror projects, indie horror films, TV appearances), Micah Sloat (Paranormal Activity series, indie film work, horror projects, television appearances, low-budget features), and Mark Fredrichs (Paranormal Activity appearances, television roles, supporting film work, character acting projects, indie productions), bringing together a cast tied closely to the franchise and the found-footage horror style that helped redefine modern low-budget horror and continues to drive strong reaction and scare-focused audience engagement. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
