Paranormal experiences. Horror movies based on true stories. What our real-life fears are.

from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

One more 60° day and then that might be it for awhile. Probably going to get the bike out today and go for a spin this afternoon when it warms up. Halloween is later this week so we had all sorts of stuff related to the upcoming holiday, including a list of horror movies that are based on true stories, a tip for making your carved pumpkin last longer, our top fears in America, and experiencing paranormal events! We recapped our respective weekends and we also let you know what's on TV today/tonight. In the news this morning, the Mega Millions jackpot is now over $700 million after nobody won on Friday, Hurricane Melissa continues to strengthen and head towards Jamaica, a massive recall on frozen chicken, and suspects in the robbery of the Louvre have been arrested. In sports, the Packers got a nice win over the Steelers & Aaron Rodgers last night, the Bucks split the weekend with a win on Friday & a loss yesterday, the Badgers lost to #6 Oregon on Saturday, the World Series continues tonight in LA with the series knotted up at 1-1, Cam Skattebo suffered a broken ankle yesterday and is likely done for the season, and former NY Jet Nick Mangold died over the weekend. Elsewhere in sports, the results of yesterday's NASCAR race, Brian Kelly gets fired from LSU, and a look at tonight's MNF game to wrap up week 8 in the NFL. Cool story about a young kid who really wanted his town to decorate for Halloween, and check out this Navy Veteran who just broke two records! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about an AVIS employee who was allegedly stealing cars to start their own car-rental company, a guy who sent a lit cigar through the bank tube, a Halloween display in #Florida that some people are finding offensive, & a dude who got divorced and has to pay "cat support" to his ex-wife.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
