Parent as Primary Disciplemaker

from Clear Creek Community Church · host Yancey Arrington

About the Series: There is a very specific reason why people lay a boundary of rocks around a campfire. It allows them to take advantage of the fire’s benefits without exposing themselves to its potential for damage. In other words, the rocks allow you to keep something good (the warmth of a campfire) from potentially turning into something bad (the destruction of a forest fire). The same is true in growing your child’s faith. There are four foundational beliefs or “rocks” parents should understand in order to ensure their discipleship remains helpful and not harmful. In THE BOUNDARY, the CCCC Teaching Team will not only introduce these foundational rocks but show what discipleship looks like when parents run beyond this critical boundary.
