Parenting & Shamanism

from Healing For The Soul · host Robin Ann Stoltman

What in the world is a shaman? Well, I learned a lot about shamanism in how it can help us become better parents. I learned how it can help you when combined with a few modalities to find that inner healing and strength that can only come from within. I know you will enjoy my talk with John Moore about parenting and shamanism. More about John: John Moore is a shamanic practitioner and teacher who works with spiritually conscious professionals to live fuller, happier lives, in touch with their true purpose. After two decades of working in the technology sector, John turned to humankind's oldest spiritual practice, shamanism, to heal himself during a personal crisis. John believes we interconnect with everything and everyone through a unique spark of divinity inside each of us. We co-create our reality. John has written a column on the intersection of spirituality and men's health for The Good Men Project. He also appears in a weekly radio spot, interpreting the dreams of listeners, and hosts his podcast. John completed years of shamanic apprenticeship, advanced initiations, and teacher training. He holds a master's degree in Information Technology, an MBA, and a BA in Mass communication. He is a 3rd-degree black belt in ketsugo jujutsu, a certified hypnotherapist, and a meditation instructor. John lives in Maine where he is raising two teen daughters. His website is MaineShaman.com
