Parenting: Is There A Better Way?

I get asked so many times about doing an episode on parenting, how to handle toddlers, tantrums and meltdowns. So many parents feel so overwhelmed and powerless in the choices they are making as it pertains to parenting and I'm hoping that this episode will bring to your attention a new way to look at this very BIG picture. I was introduced to "Conscious Parenting" a little while back but only recently started to deep dive into the practices of this teaching. It has been life changing, not only for me, but for my family also. If you're looking for a better way, a new way to parent, I strongly recommend to begin your search here. The teachings of Dr. Shefali Tsabary have been a life saver for me and I hope that it inspires you to go on your own search for a better way.    I would highly recommend her books The Conscious Parent and The Awakened Family as well as all the content available on youtube and podcasts.   In this episode, Jonno and I talk about what it was like in our homes growing up, how we parent our children and how we are both on a path to helping to nurture and preserve the essence of our children. This topic is so huge that we barely got to cover all the aspects we wanted to.
