Hey Jugglers it's all anyone is talking about, so let's talk about it. We weren't immune to the Coronavirus madness that has hit everyone this week. One of our hosts, Sarah, as well as most of the Fitzy and Wippa news team spent the week in isolation after a virus scare, but thankfully they are all fine. Our producer Nina stepped in to host and she and Mel talked about parenting through scary times and our fears that our kids are missing out on an age of innocence. We also had Sky News reader Jaynie Seal stop by to talk about how she juggles her busy job while raising her kids as a single mum, and she does it all without COFFEE! how? Your hosts this week were Melissa Wilson and Nina Young filling in for Sarah McGilvray. This podcast was produced by Nina Young. Navigating the Work Compass Susan Chapman-Hughes and Cate Luzio Over the past 23 months, our lives have changed dramatically, particular in the workplace. Many of us went from spending five days a week in an office, running from airport to airport, or meeting to meeting, to a completely remote environment juggling both our personal and professional lives from a dining room table. With women, in particular women of color, disproportionately impacted during the pandemic (more than 5mm women have exited the workforce since February 2020), what does a “return to the office” look like for you? What are the range of emotions and feelings about going back to work? Has your company addressed various situations of home-based, on-site or hybrid? Or put in place a timeline or new policies? What questions should you be asking? Is flexibility a concern, or lack of it? What changes can I make in how I manage that will support the diverse needs of my teams?
