TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Good morning everyone. This episode is for sure the result of two people A strong tough love kick from my listener friend and well-wisher. Let's call her a, okay? I refer to a relationship as a dynamic one.

When I slag down she nudges and pushes me. Yesterday she came in person to do that. The second one is a friend and temple volunteer. Let's call her we.

Who is all set to send her child to college with mixed emotions? I was thoroughly enjoying my morning walk collecting with nature on one hand and Fearing the nestlings on my sidewalk that seemed to have fallen from the nest built on a tree. I Normally don't use my cell phone except when I get an important call from my family member or a friend while I'm walking Because I'm trying to Learn to become very comfortable with my own thoughts and feelings. That's huge these days, right?

I realize that I get overwhelmed when it comes to selecting a topic for creating an episode. I Also need to have a clear state of mind feel fulfilled and inspired in order to create an Publish an episode. So these two are non-negotiable requirements. Otherwise, you are not going to see an episode published.

I'll be Please bear with me. Okay Yesterday morning we called me to fill in some information about our volunteering work and during our conversation. I was telling her You know a lot of you know a lot of the people a lot of the parents I meet now They are they have already put the sent their you know son or daughter to college dorm or they're going to send next week So there is an urge I'm having an urge to Do an episode for parents whose son or daughter is going to step out of home or already gone to the dorm And start their college studies. She said yes, Lalitama.

We need to we need it. We need it and the timing is so right I have so many unanswered questions bothering me. I asked her to list three pressing questions for concerns Here they are she said security will there be enough security for her And will she feel secure Number two she said interaction and intimidation Would my daughter cope up well in the new environment and interact well with others? What if she gets intimidated?

Number three mind wandering Right now she is under the care of our parents and very focused and has a clear state of mind How would it be when she gets out of the secure cozy family environment? I don't want her mind to wonder Wow, isn't that is one of these very very normal concerns for parents and as a mother I can relate to it sure So we help me with a clear state of mind to choose the topic I'm all right I do remember telling me telling you about the two negotiable things for me Requirements there you go. So we help me with clear state of mind to choose the topic and content for the episode Huge relief. Okay.

I was also inspired to prepare and then We requested that I come yesterday to volunteer as we were talking Because she said the flowers have arrived and we need to go and start making the girl and otherwise they will go still I love both the tasks of volunteering and creating podcast episodes as they are truly solid reaching for me I decided to volunteer yesterday and while doing that Happily guess what guess who I met there you go my friend a I Told her about my transformational journey to grandmother and being present to my son's family emotionally if not physically And in order to do that in order to do an episode I need to be in an inspired state of mind That's why I didn't do any podcast episodes. She said Alita You say the right words and I'm looking for your next episode. There you go after I came back. I texted and thanked her Yes, what she replied with a tough love stop texting me and just do your podcast Oh my god I felt like a first first grader to be honest It is one of those statements that our parents make when they want us to do something that will benefit Definitely that will benefit us for in the long run and I did feel that way I call it tough love.

Oh my god with that said I made up my mind to do two part series Here is a lesson I learned from today's event When you truly want to help someone or a group of people and you get bogged down by events and experiences for which you need to be present Then you will organically be presented with opportunities to serve in a way your authentic self wants I know it sounds a little what to say to intense be with me here. I Published my last episode titled annual physical exam blood work and roller coaster ride of thoughts and emotions Go ahead and listen to that if you haven't already That I published it on July 30th and today's what August 26th, okay? Almost it's gonna be a month and then after I went through days of mix it emotions of sadness of Could have done better in my annual physical exam because the numbers were a little higher So that was a sadness then happiness from the birth of a wonderful grandson Then to feeling compassionate and divine holding and holding him holding the beautiful nascent new baby And to feeling totally fulfilled and thankful to watch his tiny hands what a beautiful creation and tiny feet and then griggling nascent bones subtly pressing my lap Great emotional different types of emotions, right? If he and his parents Wouldn't get good sleep and they and my son calls and tells me mom I had a rough day We had a rough day and I had to go to surgery and all that stuff and also my my my his mother and all so she had a rough day Because she didn't get good get good sleep too, right?

So I would be present to those feelings I would feel sad I would feel sad in my body a kind of you know what and then I will pray to God and then I'll say Oh my god, please, you know, and then next day probably I want to hear what I want to hear and he would say today It was better so you understand the roller coaster of emotions that I would go through and then come back to neutral So I need to be in that neutral state of mind to get to the next task So that's how I was handling the day-to-day day-to-day stuff, you know, even if it's gardening even if it is cooking even if it's Cleaning I feel that I must come to that neutral state of neutral thing, you know, where I feel totally in the present moment and neutral And say to myself, yes, Lolita, you are fine You are feeling good and you deserve to feel good You deserve to feel in this state of mind where you feel strong courageous and Fulfilled to stay the next step and I need to come to that and I need to look for ways to come to that And there are many ways which I will discuss in some other episode. I cannot promise you now. All right So now it simply means that so I know you might be wondering, you know, what that means neutral and what is she talking about? Okay, it simply means that I internalize that feeling of concern of sadness or happy Whatever, but don't avoid it feel it and wrap it with a feeling of gratitude and prayer for them to get a good night's sleep and enjoy the development of Baby together.

It is completely okay for me if that process of getting too neutral Stops me, starts me from doing the next task that I love and enjoy In other words, the event of my becoming a grandma was like a traffic signal red light red light because it's a transformation, right? Yeah, I knew that my daughter lost pregnant. I knew the baby's gonna come right, but it is giving me a new position as a grandmother Not in that title or something that but something there's a beautiful feeling going through right? Okay, even if I'm not physically present there So that's so that even itself was like a red signal red light feeling my feelings and processing to neutral can be compared to the amber light Okay, I'm sure if you're driving you can donate to this and publishing this first part of this episode compares to the green light So my dear friends a and we who are my angels, please bear with me until I address your concerns, especially for me Concern about sending your kid to college putting her off in the dorm And by part two my dear lovely listeners.

You'll have a fantastic day. Please share your thoughts your feelings your insights I think you can in anchor has now improved their app has improved you can go and record a voice note for me to hear your voice and Share your thoughts and feelings I'm not sure whether you can do a text or something like that, but go ahead. Thank you so much
