In the dead of night, as people sleep, that is when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three dark things take power, we like to call it the supernatural hour. Hey, this is Raven. Welcome to the supernatural hour.

I forgot what we were doing. This is Chad. Welcome to the supernatural hour also. And this is Emmet, who's just happy to be here.

He's probably the only one of us that can talk right now. Holy cow. It takes effort sometimes too lately. It doesn't dot can't be with us tonight, so we will see them later.

Okay, for the business. The business is brought to you by Castle Photo Art and Castle Nature Studio. And the business at this point is we are still trying to get a new venue for the spring paranormal event for Dance Paranormal. The venue that we've looked at seems to be closed.

Can't we've been trying to get ahold of Emmet, it's a place we haven't been in a really long time. I thought, oh, hey, we should go hit them up again. We call, we call, we call, we call. Anyway, I drive past it on the train every day to school.

And the last time I looked at it, you know, to kind of see if there was cars on one of the doors, it's like all boarded up and I thought, well, that's not a good sign. So I know on our last podcast, we said, oh, we'll have the information up by the time that you hear it now. Yeah, it's not our fault though. Well, you know, it's been a wet snowy spring that effectively has just eliminated a lot of venues that are at higher elevations, you know, so we're pretty much stuck with valley sites.

Yeah, and outside at this point is still pretty scary. Anything that has an outside venue like when we went to Fort Douglas for our last investigation, we really, you know, we walked outside to move from location to location there, but it wasn't like we could have a site out there. I think a few people went to the 9-11 memorial for just a few moments. Oh, yeah.

Okay, let me tell you about the 9-11 memorial. I, with my unicorn brain at one point during the evening, referred to it as the 9-11 memorial because I'm an idiot. As soon as, but you know, in my defense, as soon as I left this community, right, I think there's a 9-1 and a 1 in there. It works.

Yeah, as soon as I said it, I was like, take that back. Take that back. I can't understand that. But yeah, that, you know, outside still is a little cold.

So we're trying to look for a venue that gives us good opportunity to be inside. Maybe middle of April, we can do something outside. That's even a little chilly too. Yeah.

So we are still working on a venue. As far as residential, the last time we podcasted, I had two that I was coordinating with the clients to pick a date and we just haven't been able to coordinate dates. So we do have two in the works still. We're just trying to get those dates coordinated.

So it's been a little slower from the residential aspect, correct? Yeah, and not because they haven't been coming in. We just haven't been able to get things scheduled. They'll schedule and we need to cancel it and we need to tweak it.

Then you can't get a hold of them. And then, yeah, so as soon as we get those scheduled, we'll have two. Because you know, people have lives and stuff happens. Yeah, there's still one.

We've talked about this. It's been a long time since we've talked about this. I think we can bring it up again. But this lady called and told me what's going on in her home.

And she said, you know, I sleep on the couch because she was having back problems or something. So, and from from the couch, she could see her kitchen. And the way she described it, it sounded like Satan himself was holding court in her kitchen at night. And I was like, well, we need to come out and see what's going on.

She'd say, well, I can't have you come next week because we're going camping. She kept putting it off, putting it off. And I thought, well, it can't be. It's bad as you're describing.

It can't be too bad if we can put off Satan's board meetings. Okay, whatever. So, yeah, residential is going to be funny. Right?

So that's pretty much it for the business. Yep. So main topic, we moving on to the Paris catacombs. Yes.

And I'm just, I'm looking at, I talk about this little agenda and I did this in kind of a hurry. It's Paris catacombs, but look right there, main topic. Parach catacombs. Parach catacombs.

I can't talk for spell. Well, sometimes the letter C is pronounced like an S. So there's a thing there's this meme that I saw kick around the other day. And it's, have you seen those memes where there's the brain talking to the person and the brain's like, are you sleepy?

And then the person's like, yes. And then the brain says, well, before you go to sleep, just remember that every C in the phrase, Pacific Ocean is pronounced differently. You're like three of them and they're pronounced differently. I wish you could see them right now.

That's funny. Oh, man. I don't know. That parake could be Paris.

I'm just being creative in my spelling. The way some people spell names these days. Hey, that's true. I know where we're going tonight.

So let's do it. Okay. So Paris catacombs. I've never, I've been to Paris like three times.

I've never been to the catacombs. That kind of surprises me that if you've been to Paris three times, you haven't been to the catacombs. Well, at the times that I was in Paris, ghost hunting was not as forefront in my mind as it is. Let's just put it that way.

Well. Okay, so the three times I was in Paris, first time I was there was my Dutch friend who thought that driving five hours from Holland to Paris was insane. I'm like, that's for my house visit. Because I do that three or four times a year.

And if you throw in the moab trips, that's another three more, right? And like, get the car. I'll drive she thought I was absolutely insane. So I kind of made her go.

I don't know. The ship's wrong. So yeah, in the other two times, where actually does really long layovers, and so not the time to go do a whole lot. Okay.

But what they did say is like five and a half million people go through the catacombs every year No, that's just a tourism because my bed my bed my bed very popular like 500 raves down there. Yeah, five hundred and fifty thousand I I'm I'm really impressive. How many people yeah five hundred and fifty thousand not five hundred million I've got the five hundred million mixed up with the number of dead bodies that are down there and that's actually That's every time you go through that one's Okay, but still a half a million people a year. Yeah is impressive Yeah, it's one of the major tourist attractions and it was a major tourist attraction really from the get-go But let's kind of start with with what the get go let's let's start with the get go We're kind of jumping in on the second chapter here history So Paris catacombs basically what happened is in Paris they were burying people the oldest cemetery there They say it's like it was a thousand years old at the time it was over that time and Very likely they finally had to close it because there was no room They weren't very you know, they weren't involving people and They were just there a lot of mass graves and it became kind of a public hazard the doctors in the area All these diseases were popping up and medicine was advanced enough at the time that they said, you know We don't think that these stinky bloated decomposing in some cases not so decomposing bodies are not really good for public health Yeah, I think yeah, we got to do something there was even some situations where the bodies had been buried, you know So when I say so high so deep in such masses that some of the basement walls of the buildings around were collapsing in from the pressure of The bodies expanding and the gases so it's like all of a sudden you're there in your basement and the wall comes down and dead bodies come rolling in How Macabre is that?

Can you imagine sitting there eating dinner watching TV all of them? I don't think HP Lovecraft or Edgar Allen Poe could come up with something like that. That is just creepy Anyway, so they're just trying to decide what to do with you know with the situation and they'd had a cave-in and they remembered that A while back they had been quarrying limestone underneath Paris City roads since like the Roman days Yeah, and they weren't at the time It wasn't Paris City because Paris the quarries were out away from the city but The city then expanded over though So you know in the 1700s Paris was over these old limestone mines that were used to you know for things like Notre Dame Cathedral And I mean all of the building of Paris right and there was collapses and the collapses got to be so frequent and people you know Dying I had it written down one of the Kings King Louis the 15th Louis the somebody or other Finally said no more quarry. Oh, yeah, that's even further back.

No more quarry Okay, and just they said no you can't do it anymore. It's too dangerous and they went down and kind of short up What was there so that the city wouldn't collapse? Well, they had forgotten about these and there was a little collapse somewhere and they went oh hey And at the same time Louis the 15th was trying to figure out what to do with all these corpses and these dead bodies and Things that you know they're having a problem with he'd put an e-dict out that they couldn't bear any more people in the In the city of Paris because of the problems. There's just no place to put them right there was you know literally millions and millions of people buried And you know and you know like 700,000 you know people in the city But literally millions of corpses.

Yeah, I think the total corpse count in the catacombs is five to six million Yeah, I've heard six or seven years how many hundreds of years? I think they said well it took 12 years to move everybody out of the surrounding cemeteries into the catacombs And some even if you stretch that out over hundreds and hundreds of years That's still like truckloads of bodies going in there some of the cemeteries went back over a thousand years Yeah, the oldest one Is the one they started with the one right in the center and it was called Saint Innocence something like that cemetery That's the one that was over a thousand years old. Yeah, so so think of all the bodies over a thousand years You know being piled up when I say piled up buried trying to you know dispose of the bodies and you've got that and then you've got all of the All of the different cemeteries all throughout Paris Well, you got to wonder if you went down there with an e-dip recorder if you hear nothing, but like a stadium sounds from all Right, so there's a new they're doing a wave. Yeah, there's an interesting thing about that Other cheerleaders down there Interesting thing about that so they went to move these and the church and this is the church I'm assuming the Catholic Church was against it and so the Catholic Church wasn't really hot on it and just the the general public wasn't too hot on it They actually had to move these bodies at night So that people didn't get all right to sub out it and then it did say that there was a preacher I thought I've wrote it down.

There was a priest who would do some prayers as they were moving the bodies You know to kind of hopefully keep everybody at peace. Mm-hmm. So yeah, the church looked at it as a disturbing a grave or a Desecration, okay, I get that I get that but you know and you can see where this is exactly the kind of thing You know we even experienced today where you know issues of faith bang heads with the needs of the society Yeah, the public interest public health in this case it's happened forever. It's gonna keep happening forever So basically they first started moving the bodies and in everything I read it said the bones In 1785 they had a brief break during the revolution and then they started up again after the revolution and kept going until about 1860 and these weren't individual trips.

These were just pile literally piles of bones, right in some cases well, and there was a lot more than just bones too because The the bodies have been stacked so heavily in these cemeteries and the air was so bad There wasn't a lot of oxygen for actual decomposition to take place That the bodies waxified that the bodies turned into that kind of that gelatinous Corpse wax that they talk about and that was part of the reason that they had to get rid of this because they weren't decomposing to just bones They were it's like it's like human amber or something. Yeah sticky, you know, not the hard amber that's been fossilized but the sticky Stuff and there was one report that I was listening to and they talked about it And there were some people that really benefited from from these body movements where they where they moved the bodies from the graveyards to the cat combs And that was the candlestick makers and the soap makers Because they use that that corpse body wax that the fats from those corpses to make candles and to make soaps That is just disgusting you ramp up so as you light your candle and taking your bath You got dead people go on you Yeah, oh yeah, so they're you know, I mean it's like with everything and I'll change there's winners and losers my life's not You don't have to take a bath with corpse soap. I'm never gonna be able to light a candle or use bar soapy French people are just very Okay You need to get out more So bad, right so yeah, but you know going back to the bodies when they took him out at first They just kind of uncere Unceremoniously just dumped him down these they call them wells and then after the wells would get so deep workers would go down there and move Them off into what they called galleries, which I'm assuming is just wider open spaces where they'd quarry the limestone But they were just in there in piles and it was around the time of Louis the 16th He hired a fellow named I took notes and I don't know where all my notes are Some fellow some French dude. Oh right here Inspector Hericard the three he went down there with his workers They took the bones and they made them pretty things you know stack them up and if you look at pictures with patterns Yeah, you know the skulls and they'd have all the femurs lined up It's really five feet of femurs three feet of skulls five more feet of three femurs three feet of skulls Yeah, and they make patterns like hearts and and you know I mean aside from the fact that they were actual human bones of living people which is kind of creepy They're quite pretty quite artistic.

It's very artistic, but I can just hold arch I can just imagine I want to do this actually with chicken bones now on a small scale You can do your own miniature replication of replica the Paris catacombs This is this is totally a side okay an off topic But I gotta put it in here when I was young I had a friend who kept lizards in a terrarium and they just would grow all over his house They were everywhere they come back at night their terrarium and he'd done it his whole life And he when they died he desiccated them and kept the bones right a little plastic box full of little lizard bones Holy cool skulls everything all the bones he had his own little pair of catacombs for I said what are you gonna do with that? And he said well one day he wants to supergloom into little miniature dinosaur skeletons and make a little miniature dinosaur museum Okay, so if you did it with chicken bones you could call it the poultry catacombs There you go. You pulled it back. Yes, it is.

Yeah, and you go like KFC and go through their trash to get extra bones I think we can do this we can make candles and soap out of the chicken legs. There you go This is a new business opportunity. We are so often we're gonna be a new one in our advanced paranormal shop No, no folks we are not in the start selling dead Although I know you know I know that there's been you know barrels of stuff in cockid for this hobby and it's gonna It's gonna go on so we'll see what happened. So I find it interesting They first started opening up these catacombs in 1809 to the public so they were still moving bones in from the 1780s You know they were still moving bones because it says it took a break But they were they were moving bones from 1840 to 1860 again.

Yeah, there is officially permitted in sanctions to tour these yep Yeah during that during that little break they were making more candidates to go down there with the guillotine and Well, it does say it became a popular burial place So I think some of the some of the bones down there exactly some of the bones down there are newer than older I mean there's some dinner that are thousands of years old, but there's yeah emperor of Napoleon the third is down there Well, yeah, Charles the 10th Francis the fur I mean there's a it became a popular burial site It was gonna be placed to be buried well and where you can't be buried in a graveyard in Paris because they've closed them all down That's probably where you go yep Now days that's attached to a carnival a museum and I'm sure I'm mispronouncing that if you have French or no French I'm sorry And in 2017 and 2019 respectively, there's a new bookstore and a new entrance in the Lidau House the Lidau House So they're continuing to upgrade it and make it nice It has been open for tourists off and on you know, sometimes my appointments sometimes closed down because I guess people were going down there stealing bones What kind of creepers doing that? Phone collectors like myself I know but as of right now, I mean, you know for several years It's been opened and you just pretty much have to buy a ticket But that's that's the the public area because the public area is only like a mile and a half or two miles of the catacombs Yes, the catacombs go for 350 kilometers, which is two hundred and seventeen miles right under the city and They're off limits to everybody except for in these certain areas like the osteary the bonostary where the thing is other than that They're not supposed to be one supposed to go there's trespassing So does the city of the Paris government run this or is it private concessionaires or you know how it's structured? You know what I didn't get into it. I didn't say anything about that It's I bet it's got to be the Paris city government I would think so you know, it's being overseen by the king at the time So do you know who the catacombs are owned by?

No I'm any idea who the catacombs are owned by no clue, but I'm I'm waiting with David They are owned by the people that owns the property above them. Wow. Okay, and the Paris government did that for a very good reason Just to share the yeah, because if the if your house claps if the house collapses into the catacombs or into the whole you're responsible for what's under your house It's your own responsibility Okay, which makes it so that it's Trespassing that people are going in the catacombs without permission When you decide to buy your house in Paris or your commercial property or whatever you're buying everything that's below you and you are now Responsible for it. So if if you own the catacombs below your property Can you go there?

You could probably tunnel down and go into your portion of the catacombs Some people use them as wine sellers. Some people use them again It's just a big cavern underneath and some of these caverns are huge can handle thousands of people They're big you know caverns that have been hollowed out some of them are just hallways and and those kinds of things But it's I did see the ghost adventures episode with the backbagons running around down there bigans I don't know and I've seen that episode. They are incredibly extensive He actually got a he contacted a local to guide him down there and she took him through there a couple of them did and they're just You could easily get lost very quickly down there. They're huge.

So there is a thing called I was looking through my notes. So right here It says by 1785 the tunnels were stable because they went down and stabilized and so the city wouldn't Collapse and I said the remains of dead Parisians were being dug up every night and transferred into them I priest accompanied every wagon load of remains in order to chant the Catholic office of the dead prayer cycle to ensure that the remains remained at peace When I was looking for there is a term and I want to make sure I get it right Cataphiles you know what a cataphile is Somebody who hangs out in the catacombs. Yes, so they actually hang out there illegally they only let you into a certain portion because they are so extensive and so massive people have gotten lost But there are a lot of people that are catacomb explorers that do go down there illegally these cataphiles and other people I've heard they actually host illegal waves parties down there. Yeah with hundreds of hundreds of hundreds and thousands of people Yes, exactly hundreds of thousands.

It's gotta be it's gotta be an open secret though. You know what something that big. Yeah 800 people go down that man In World War II they were used extensively by the French resistance They were also used by the Nazis Yep, so yeah, they're just I mean you got 200 plus miles of catacombs probably don't bump into each other They also you were used for bootlegging and more recently with more recent cataphiles apparently it was during the 2020 lockdowns Teenagers would go down there because they just they had to get out. They had to socialize they They would sneak down the catacombs just for something to do doing what teenagers do.

Yep. Yeah I saw one report about a girl that died down there got lost from her her group They were a little drunk and she wandered off and they found her about How several months later somebody found her, you know, someone else another one. Yeah, yeah Well same. That's hard to explain.

I was down there wandering around and I shouldn't have and I found someone else who wandered around but they shouldn't have Yeah, it's like and could you describe exactly where it was? Nope, I can't and how did you get there? I'm sure they mean well they found her in the apparently reported her to authorities So I guess they could get to her somehow. Yeah, I mean they did they got her, but it's like I say people you know Leave your trailer breadcrumbs hundreds of miles of you know over 200 miles of possible places to get lost There's the story of the guy.

There's a hospital. I think we talked about it where he got lost in the 1780s or 1790s He was at a hospital and there was an entrance down there and he was a gatekeeper and a key You know the key master at the hospital and he went down there and you know took his candle down and apparently it got blown out He couldn't do it got lost because they found him like 14 years later and they were able to identify him by the keys that he had Yeah, that's we have a few yeah Surprisingly there were not very many ghost stories that I could find on the internet about catacombs even though I'm sure with that many bodies I'm sure there are spirits of the bodies that are there and it probably attracts negative spirits to hang down there too It may attract positive spirits to I don't make it sound really negative But it was actually during the French Revolution the man's name was Filbert Appser and he was a doorman at the hospital and his job I don't know if it was his job, but this particular mission why he went down there was to get a certain liquor from a seller and He actually entered the catacombs accidentally. He was just going down to the seller made a wrong turn Lost and he just had a single candle. You know he wasn't expecting to go on a 250 mile check or however long it was He was gonna go get the liquor.

Oh get the liquor. Well, then you think about that you're down there in the dark There's no electricity literally You're down there with your candle and for some reason you drop out or it goes out And now you were in pitch black and there's no way to know which way to turn Yeah, it does say they believe that he may have been intoxicated. No probably didn't help Yeah, and it's can't probably what it took for him to go down there in the first place right his candle went out And everything went black and he was found 11 years later by a group of cataphiles And like you said they identified him by his hospital key ring, but they buried in there where he fell and there's actually tombstone describing his death and It says cataphiles and catacomb folklorists say that every November 3rd Filbert's ghost haunts the labyrinth of the catacombs. So, you know, it's every November 3rd probably the day that he died That's more likely a residual haunting So yeah, but just think how you know strange that would be to be down in a place like that and There's just literally you know miles and miles and miles and you don't know which way to go because there's no light at all No, there would be no light.

It would be that would be one of the blackest blacks Yeah, the darkest dark so don't sound like you would be feeling hallways and hoping you didn't come to a fork You know what I mean? And and the first one that you get wrong. It's yeah You know hopefully someone comes looking for you, but the chances of them finding you are pretty slim. All right You're on your own.

I'm sure you've been in that kind of black before I did that at Tim and August cave when you go up there on that thing they take you down into the middle of it Then they turn off the lights and it's just like you don't see anything. Yeah, there's absolutely nothing and it's Eerie disorienting. Okay, so here's another story. So it was in the early 1990s There was a group of cataphiles and not all cataphiles are necessarily illegal There are people who study and explore them on a regular basis.

So we probably should make that a little clear historians So, I mean, I'm sure they've got to get licensed and registered and stuff So one day in the early 1990s They were walking around in some of the dark chambers of the ossuary kind of right there by kind of near a public place It wasn't in the public place near the public place and they found a video camera on the ground So, you know, they looked at the video camera I still had footage on it and as they were watching the footage on this camera They just heard some really disturbing noises and you know from from the video that they were watching they could tell that the man holding the camera Was lost and he had no idea how to get out You know because they could hear him you know kind of as a little personal monologue and as they continued watching this footage They could tell that the man was just kind of going mad You know, I just so panicked that that he was losing his senses in these underground tunnels which I can totally understand And the video just ends very abruptly when the man drops the camera to the ground and to this day No one knows who he was or if he was able to get out alive a lot of people think that the movie as above so below was inspired by this I think I've heard this before this is actually a famous story Yeah, so there's another kind of story that's kind of linked to the video camera story It's a famous legend of the Paris catacombs And it has has it that something terrifying happens in the burial site after midnight, which is ghost hunters We know that the witching hours three in the morning, right? So that's after midnight So basically says keep your wits about you in the catacombs if you're there after midnight My guess would be general public would not be there because I'm sure the hours don't go that late. I could be wrong I did notice that it was 13 euros to get in I didn't notice the hours 13 year What's that like 25 30 bucks something like that? Yeah, according to this legend That's when the walls begin to speak which makes total sense if there's any spirits down there That's when they're gonna get chatty I said that disembodied voices will try to persuade you to venture deeper into the catacombs until you can't find your way up So yeah, that one was not surprising to me.

I thought yeah later You are the yeah, your spirit and that gets more into the paranormal bent of things than just kind of the historical So in 2004 a group of police officers were exploring part of the Paris catacombs that were restricted from public access And they uncovered some really weird things. They found a PA system playing pre-recorded guard dog barking Then they found three thousand square feet of galleries wired for phones using pirate electricity They also found a bar living area workshop lounge and even a cinema with room to seat 20 people And the cinema seats had been carved into the stone of the catacombs and the creepiest part They said was that they discovered cameras on the ceilings recording them And a few days later the police went back to the area with a larger team to investigate further But everything they discovered from the phone lines to the catacombs had vanished and the only thing that remained was a note That read and I'm not even gonna try to pronounce it in French, but it just read don't search Wow, what is that? The other thing is it just said that there were a lot of missing persons They've had a lot of people that have just wandered off into these catacombs and never been seen again Whether they got out and I would think if they got out they would no longer be missing That makes sense to me. I mean you know, I'm gonna report the missing if they're not missing So, you know, there's that however, even though there weren't a whole lot of stories like these to tell that I could find on the internet There are a lot of pictures documented evidence type pictures Yeah So if you go in like on Google and if you just type in Paris catacombs go stories There are a lot of pictures that people have taken since the since they've opened visitors have reported seeing orbs voices strange shadows So there's definitely activity.

There's just for whatever reason not a whole lot of stories about it So basically I really want to go to the catacombs that sounds amazing as a visitor as a visitor Yeah, just I want to come back out of the catacombs basically and then You know what Chad and I are actually going to be in France of June of 2024 will be in Normandy, which is a ways away from Paris But I don't know maybe we need to somehow get to Paris and go through catacombs. That would be cool Well, we're there I think you can get anywhere in France on the train effortlessly these days Yes, we might have to once I get my agenda. What's going on see what other options are a type of ship It's not just something that we're planning because if we were just gonna go we would actually we would plan it in but yeah We will be going there with a group and we'll kind of see what kind of time we have but definitely you can have to try to pop down there Yeah, that would be fun. Okay, so we have Velma she was able to pop on better late than ever hello Welcome, Belma We're glad you could make it.

Thank you so I pulled a random type of card for my crystal today and it was for it and I was like, you know what? This is pretty I do need this so it has a concentration protection and emotional stability and I think a lot of us need some emotional stability in these days I know I do those we the highly spiritual vibrations and can shield you from negative influence or a person that is causing emotionally Imbalanced stuff and In the head with the floor, right? Yeah, yeah As you know as a teacher sometimes I'm like, oh, I need a lot of emotional instability in this classroom for me So maybe you just need a lot of stones to throw yeah I Just I just taught rocks and minerals there you go Know that you are surrounded by love and light it says and trust in the protection you are now receiving let go of fears and concerns Allow this wondrous healing to occur start to focus on things that bring joy to your life focus on all that you would love to be doing rather than Worrying about what others think I have a lot a lot you are safe and try to love nothing can harm you accept your own fears So worrying more about yourself instead of external things so flirt nice. All right.

Well, Velma stone was brought to you today by advanced paranormal Services, you know go to advanced paranormal services. You can see what's going on with our upcoming investigation You can look at our shop also. We have tiktok youtube what other things do we have there? We've got lots of things going on Anyway advanced paranormal services has brought to you the almost stone and we're now gonna move on to it segment Okay, well, you know, I haven't really been doing a whole heck of a lot this winter I've been kind of laid up especially the last couple of weeks But what I have been doing is as always and this is something we don't touch on very often But we plan to more in the future is getting outside and looking up UFOs and I did have two really nice sightings over the course of the winter just for my own backyard We'd be interested to know if any of you had you know legitimate sightings Not this may be something you couldn't explain But you know, I'm it really and truly made the hair stand up on the back of your neck So that's pretty much all I've been doing lately is just trying to stay in tune and be my eyes open It seems like there's a lot of UFO news lately and you know, I don't just mean I don't mean these government commissions and reports in Congress and every in the balloons the balloons.

Yeah I'm talking about things like grassroots efforts like move on the mutual UFO network Which is composed of basically just citizens just people like all of us, okay keeping our eyes open Looking up and reporting these things when they come in You can always get a hold of us But really if you want to get on Facebook just about every state as a move on coordinator place where you can send your reports videos audio if you get it, so you know, just Stay tuned in and I promise you one of these days. We're gonna have all the answers. Oh, yeah We will so can I tell you one of my UFO experiences? Please do well.

I've only had one well then tell us the one That's like the one so it was in the late 1980s early 90s. I lived in Cedar City I was going to SU you and I worked at the observatory I was the observatory lab coordinator and I was the assistant to the physics professor I even got to teach a class for him one day when he was gone, which sounds really cool I don't know that much about physics and astronomy. I learned a lot. It was kind of a test review day So anyway, I digress so I work at the observatory and we would go out there twice a week I believe one night was lab night for the university students one night was like a public night and I got to the point I'm not this good anymore, but I got to the point where I could look up at the sky and tell you every constellation I could tell you that one's coming up that one's going down I mean I didn't even need to see the whole constellation.

I got really really good at constellations And I just got inhabited every time I was outside like you said I was looking up and one night I'd gotten home from the grocery store and I got out of the car and what did I do? I looked up because that's what I did and I was just kind of looking and it was the weirdest thing it was probably five or six little dim circles probably the size of quarters and when you're when you're talking to people about constellations and when you're at the observatory you measure things with hands bands Chuck I'm sure you're familiar with that you're like see the moon go down five hands bands and see that star and so To talk in that kind of language this thing that I saw was probably the equivalent of one hands band meaning I'm standing there I'm looking up with your arm out and your hand wide so you can get your measurements So there's five or six three five degrees maybe right Yeah, so there was there were little circles about the size of quarters about five or six of them They were in the shape of an iron, you know like when iron closed. I think it was just hovering there because I didn't see it come in from the periphery I was looking at it and it just moved All in unison all in unison like it was one unit and it wasn't you know it wasn't you know how they've got those Lights when they're trying to get your attention, you know the big I know there's a word for it wasn't one of those and it just it just it was a way before drums and everything So it couldn't have been a drone exactly and it just it was so smooth It was like a puck going across one of those air hockey games and I just Right completely silent and it moved from you know like the middle of the sky clear to the horizon in like a fraction of a second It was really bizarre. Yeah, you kind of know when something is acting differently Then normal then what you would expect out of it Right because when you look up at this especially when what I was doing at the time You know there are satellites you can tell the satellite you can tell the space nation you can tell Asteroids you can tell airplanes you know I mean there's there's things that you can tell because size and movement and things yeah, yeah register a Certain way in this registered out of that.

Yeah, this was completely silent the way it moved was just smoother than smooth The distance it traveled was too fast for anything. I mean there it was literally now where there aliens on I don't know it was an unidentified flying object Yeah, so there you go cool. There's my story. Yeah, you saw it from an observatory, right?

No, this was actually my driveway Oh your driveway. Yeah, well Claus talked to us a couple of weeks ago about something that he had seen you remember that No, I don't actually yeah, he had I think he had something on his phone where it was something that he saw down in the propo area We were talking a little bit about UFOs and that kind of stuff. I said yeah, did you see this? I'm vaguely Siteings like in southern Utah Valley and or I mean Utah Valley and Southern Salt Lake Valley of things like the last couple years It's been really active.

Yeah. Yeah, and that's the area in which he lives. He's he's kind of in the west side of Provo All right, so before the junk door everybody I want to remind you about supernatural hours swag at advanced paranormal calm Which is your only source or your advanced paranormal needs check it out and they've got all sorts of things I'm sitting here looking at our supernatural hour banner, which is very cool. It is a tapestry.

Thank you the tapestry Any new products on their lately you want to talk about or you know I haven't seen any lately because I haven't looked at it lately and I haven't personally added anything lately They will put basically the logos and the different things on just about anything you want out of their collection of shirts and hats and Tapestries and pens and whatever you can pretty much have anything you want that they offer You know logoed with supernatural hour, right? So the last time I remember being on there I think I basically click we wanted our logo available and everything that they offered yeah, mud so So if it's if they don't have it and if it's not there they don't have it You didn't click on toilet plungers. Did you sure? I'm gonna get a magnet.

I think that sounds like you have a collection. Oh, that's nice. I'm get a t-shirt to oh, yeah I don't know if I got one. I thought I did have a hoodie.

I have one of those at my house. Yes You have two shirts here just I've been waiting to send and I thought you know what? You're probably back here before you need them again. Yeah, oh one might be supernatural hour Also, I'm sure you can wear them.

Yeah next podcast. Okay, so our junk drawer. Do you guys know what a broken specter is? No, it's also called an anti-corona So what happened is there was a man from the UK and he thought he saw a ghost After he spotted a dark figure while scaling a mountain.

So he's climbing a mountain Looks up. I think he sees a ghost. Anyway, it took him some time, but he figured out what it is So, you know, he kind of said this really redefined having a spiritual experience in nature So his name is Thomas Swallow. He's from Manchester.

He said he was taken back a little bit He said it was a weird surreal and a really beautiful moment which occurred in November 13th I didn't say what year and he was on a 40 mile hike with some friends. They were the great ones. That sounds awful Unfortunately I went to anti-hiker anti-camp or I don't mind a little high miles were shorter in those days They were at the great end in the Lake District and Lake District is If I remember right, it's like where Beatrix Potter did her Drying and stuff was up in the Lake District beautiful. So he's 39 years old He had reportedly summited a 2990 foot peak which sounds really high except that my driveway is about 5000 feet So yeah, but when you're dealing coming from sea level, that's pretty good.

Yes He was ahead of his buddies and he was overlooking what he described on goey when he looked to see a figure floating in the sky And it kind of creeped him out and there's actually pictures of this on the internet and it kind of freaking came out at first Because he's thinking you know my seeing Christ we're hearing what is going on here And he said I was in the moment and enjoying it thinking I've never seen anything like this before and he was actually kind of awestruck and he took a whole bunch of photos Because he wanted to try to capture this, you know before the figure vanished But actually it turns out that the so-called sky spirit is an optical illusion called a broken specter also known as an anti-corona And this occurs when the observer's shadow is reflected onto the clouds or missed Below their vantage point. It usually happens on overcast days when the sun is kind of low and he said it was a cloudy day So the clouds are moving in and out of the summit I could see moisture particles in there where I looked up and saw my shadow in the middle of a rainbow Because when you look at the pictures on the internet, you know, there's like the figure of a man And then there's kind of a rainbow around it's really kind pretty I've heard of this effect before it really is beautiful. It can be photographed Mm-hmm. Yeah, and there's I mean he's got pictures of it online.

It's really cool So he called the experience spiritual and surreal and he says it's still you know says it's been a while But I still get kind of a buzz thinking about it because Look at her. It's really creepy looking. It's like looks like Bigfoot surrounded by a rainbow Yep, wow and they said in the same article it says an Australian man was left shaken after bone chilling closed CCTV footage appeared to show his pet pooch with a ghost dog in his backyard But they say it's kind of the same phenomenon So there you go. It's just a good cool.

So, you know ghost chickens go specters in the sky all kind of the same thing Ghost chicken. Have you ever heard that song ghost chicken? One of our older podcasts, I think we actually I don't think we sang it, but we quoted the words to ghost chicken in the sky You've heard the song ghost writers in the sky. Of course.

It's a standard. Yeah, I don't really recall So ghost writers there's there's words for ghost chickens nice. Oh, my moch moch moch moch All right, well stay haunted my spy Stay haunted my spooky friends have a great evening. We'll see you next time.
