Parishes Prep for Rainy Week

Rain’s coming—and local parishes are ready. St. Tammany’s setting up sandbag stations and clearing drains, while Jefferson Parish’s Emergency Ops Center is fully staffed with pumps running. Both areas stress safety: avoid flooded roads, and if you’re in St. Tammany, grab sandbags at designated spots—just bring your own shovel. Prepared, proactive, and focused on keeping you safe.
