Parliament Intruder Caught Overnight | Johannesburg News

A man in his 30s was arrested early Friday for sneaking into Parliament, hopping the fence Thursday night and staying inside overnight. Thankfully, no parliamentary business was disrupted, but security is being taken extremely seriously. The incident comes as Parliament remains under construction since the 2022 fire linked to Zandile Mafe’s arrest — a reminder that even with rebuilding underway, vigilance is key to protecting this vital institution.
