Parshaperspective.com Our Torah portions are always read on the Shabbos before Rosh Hashanah, for they contain some of the most fundamental principles in all of Judaism.  We begin with Moshe Rabbeinu gathering the people he led out of Egypt one final time. He emphasizes that we are all identical and equal in the eyes of G-d, our Heavenly Father. We find out what Moshe thought Yeshua's leadership role was. We learn where we must focus our effort, spirit, and intention to make the redemption our reality.
