Parshaperspective.com In this week's Torah portion, Yosef is loved by his father but hated by his brothers, when he told them his dreams of being a king, they decided to sell him. While in Egypt, Yosef finds success but was put the prison on the basis of false accusations. He found success in prison as a dream analyzer. He interprets the dreams of Pharaoh's Butler and Baker, in the hopes that the butler will intercede on his behalf before Pharaoh. But the butler forgets all about Yosef when he is freed. We find out how Yosef holds his faith. We learn the mindset needed to get through the hard times.
