Parsons' Return Timeline Revealed

Micah Parsons is on track for an early October return, but don’t expect him on the field for the season opener. After tearing his ACL and undergoing meniscus surgery in December, he’s still four months out — likely missing the first few games. The Cowboys are prioritizing his long-term health over rushing his comeback, with plans to possibly place him on the PUP list, which would sideline him through Week 4. His earliest realistic return could be October 4th or October 11th against the Bears, depending on the team’s decision to keep him active or use the PUP route. At just 27 and under a big contract, the team’s goal is clear: protect his career and ensure he’s a dominant force for years to come.
