Part 2 Carnal Christians

Carnal Christians are babies who refuse to grow even though they have received the priviledges of a believer: the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Grace of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 1:2-5, Romans 6:1. Carnal Christians are shallow and hollow in the word of God. They are poor in scriptures and only hang on simplistic understanding refusing anything that taxes their mind and understanding. 1 Corinthians 3:2 [2]I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. Hebrews 5:12-13 [12]For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13]For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Carnal Christians only endevor to show their spirituality just as the pharisees, busy doing things for the eye, men pleasers who motivation is pride and envy. Matthew 6:1-2 [1]Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. [2]Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. . . Conclusion: examine your level of Carnality, or watch whether you are growing or are an invalid. Let us all allow the Holy Spirit to have control over our will and lives. Shalom.
