For Joseph the Christmas story begins in the dark. Mary, his wife-to-be, is pregnant and the child is not his. Like any of us would be in similar circumstances, Joseph is quite confused. He even makes plans to divorce Mary. But soon Joseph's confusion is cleared up when the shining love of God pierces through the darkness.
