Part 2: The Pause and the Past

from Project Weight Loss · host Fina Perez

Send us Fan MailIn this week’s episode we move from the model of our unintentional being to pause and to reflect on what we are feeling. If after  full reflection our feelings do not change, then let’s sit in a pause and take another look. 1.    Ask yourself, why do you feel the same way.2.    Journal about any new related emotions of the same situation.3.    Pull out your thoughts and take a good look at them. Then decide to fully look at what is making you feel this way and if it is something that happened in the past (recent or many years ago) and chose to fully explore it. Take from it the past that serves you and from a place of truth and kindness let go of what no longer serves you. Look at the strengths, the lessons, the aspects of the past that can help you, and choose to change your story, your past to this. You can change your perspective of your past. Our next episode is close to my heart, because I will share my personal tool, what I think is the missing piece.  And If you want to get the eBook that gives some infographics around all of this then head over to my website project weight loss, to download it. I will also share a bit of my bio, my background in the next episode. And I cannot wait for you to join me in with Project 66. I will close the list on Monday, so the time is now and I am excited to see on the inside. I want to leave you with one of my favorite quotes from the Maester Pema Chodron, and she says: “Pause practice can transform each day of your life. it creates an open doorway to the sacredness of the place in which you find yourself. The vastness, stillness and magic of the place will dawn upon you, if you let your mind relax and DROP for just a few breaths the storyline you are working so hard to maintain.” Have a safe and beautiful week everyone and share this episode with your loved ones!Let’s go, let’s get it done.Get more information at: http://projectweightloss.org

This was the Fortnightly Poetry project for October 16, 2011.Chesterton was a large man, standing 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m) and weighing around 21 stone (130 kg; 290 lb). His girth gave rise to a famous anecdote. During World War I a lady in London asked why he was not 'out at the Front'; he replied, 'If you go round to the side, you will see that I am.' On another occasion he remarked to his friend George Bernard Shaw: "To look at you, anyone would think a famine had struck England". Shaw retorted, "To look at you, anyone would think you have caused it". P. G. Wodehouse once described a very loud crash as "a sound like Chesterton falling onto a sheet of tin."( Summary from Wikipedia ) True Family Men David Johnson Hey I’m David Johnson founder of True Family Men.
