Participation Awards

Why does it seem like so many people feel they deserve a participation award in life? You shouldn't get an award just for showing up, you need to get off your butt and work to succeed. Participate in life and show you deserve your success. We can learn alot from previous generations, but they went through a lot to learn those lessons. Let's see if we can change to succeed in life without having to go through the pain of the great depression, or WWII. Maybe others will learn from our example.
