Particular Election

This sermon explains that God has chosen certain people (election) and called them to salvation, and Christians should work hard to make sure they truly are among God's chosen people by examining their lives for evidence of genuine faith and good works. Spurgeon teaches that the way to be certain of your election is not through dreams or visions, but by living a godly life filled with faith, virtue, knowledge, patience, and love—these qualities prove you're truly saved.
