PARTNER UP | Apr. 21
from Golf Today Hosted by Golf Channel
Round One of the Zurich Classic is underway and some big names are in the mix. Matt and Eamon dive into the successful partnership of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele as both players look to get their games back on track. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have combined for 127 PGA Tour Victories, 21 Majors, and one disastrous Ryder Cup partnership. Were they rivals? Were they friends? Either way, they have arguably the most compelling relationship in golf history. Writer Bob Harig joins the show to discuss this relationship and his new book, Tiger & Phil: Golf’s Most Fascinating Rivalry. Lastly, NFL placekicker Robbie Gould drops in ahead of his pro-am appearance at the ClubCorp Classic. Gould talks about fun times at the event and breaks down the parallels between golf and football.
