Partnering In the Mission

Is money a tool or a drug? Today, we explore three tithes from the Old Testament, their purpose, and how God used them to grow the givers deeper into the faith. We give to God and defuse the power of money! The challenge: prayerfully consider increasing your partnership in the mission or becoming a partner in the mission for the first time. Let's let God grow us in the area of financial giving!Small Group Questions1. Candidly speaking, throughout the years, have you used money more as a tool or a drug for yourself?2. Read through the three tithes from the Old Testament. They are found in Numbers 27:30, Deuteronomy 14:22-27, & Deuteronomy 14:28-29. Discuss each one and how you have given to the mission as described in each of the three tithes.3. Read Acts 4:32. Why was this the process for the early church? Could this method happen today, why or why not?  4. Accept today's challenge: Increasing your partnership with COTH or becoming a new partner in the mission! Prayerfully consider the role that you play in the life of COTH and how we can do what we can now to ensure the future is strong and built on a solid foundation.
