As superintendent of the Bridgeton Public Schools in Bridgeton New Jersey, Celeste Merriweather brings over 25 years of educational expertise to her leadership role. Having been fortunate enough to have Black principals while going through the school system, she felt inspired to become an ed leader. A big proponent of encouraging parents to be actively involved in their child's educational journey, Celeste also believes in using data to gain understanding before taking specific disciplinary actions, speaking to young people with love, and cultivating their curiosity.
