https://www.deadamerica.website (https://www.deadamerica.website) A political machine is a political group in which an authoritative boss or small group commands the support of a corps of supporters and businesses (usually campaign workers), who receive rewards for their efforts. The machine's power is based on the ability of the boss or group to get out the vote for their candidates on election day. Although these elements are common to most political parties and organizations, they are essential to political machines, which rely on hierarchy and rewards for political power, often enforced by a strong party whip structure. Machines sometimes have a political boss, often rely on patronage, the spoils system, "behind-the-scenes" control, and longstanding political ties within the structure of a representative democracy. Machines typically are organized on a permanent basis instead of a single election or event. The term may have a pejorative sense referring to corrupt political machines.[1] The term "political machine" dates back to the 20th century in the United States, where such organizations have existed in some municipalities and states since the 18th century. Similar machines have been described in Latin America, where the system has been called clientelism or political clientelism (after the similar Clientela relationship in the Roman Republic), especially in rural areas, and also in some African states and other emerging democracies, like postcommunist Eastern European countries. The Swedish Social Democrats have also been referred, to a certain extent, as a "political machine", thanks to its strong presence in "popular houses".[2]

Minutemen Initiative Dynamic Defense Solutions The American Minutemen were crucial to the defense and preservation of early America and were often times the sole protectors for the communities they belonged to. The early minutemen were coordinated, disciplined, physically fit, well trained, highly mobile, and could deploy within 60 seconds of being alerted. They embodied true personal responsibility and maintained a culture of preparation and readiness understanding that the freedoms they enjoyed were not guaranteed.Today our freedoms, values, and societies are being continually attacked and degraded. We believe that bringing back the culture of the Minutemen may be necessary to stand against this degradation and to prepare for the possible need to defend our families and the communities we live in. Looking back at those who came long before us as an example, we believe it is necessary to adopt and embody that same culture to better preserve our freedoms. We believe in protecting our inalienable human rights as well as our Americ Dare to Think | Mere Liberty Podcast Kerry Baldwin To challenge and rethink our paradigms for understanding society, by applying Reformed theology and philosophy to politics, religion, and culture, in order to encourage individual freedom and responsibility within our own spheres of influence. Mere Liberty is about liberty at its most fundamental core. It's stripping away the rhetoric that we've become accustomed to hearing and challenging the paradigms that face us today. Mere Liberty is not about politics per se, rather it's about the philosophies (and theology) behind the problems presented in politics and culture. Challenging the manner in which we see these problems will push us to think beyond mere political solutions that in effect isolate us from own responsibility, and eschewing responsibility means relinquishing our associated freedoms.
