Pasquantino Out Again With Wrist Soreness | Kansas City Royals News

Vinnie Pasquantino’s season just got a whole lot tougher—he’s back on the injured list with wrist soreness, forcing his exit from Tuesday’s game and officially sidelined by the Royals. This follows his earlier month-long absence due to a broken hamate bone. To fill his spot, the team’s called up outfielder John Rave, who’s been tearing it up in the minors with 13 homers and 18 steals. Pasquantino’s had a rough year, struggling to hit above the Mendoza Line in April and May, and even after returning from his first injury, he’s lacked power—common with wrist/hand issues. With him out, Jac Caglianone is expected to slide back into first base, and Salvador Perez may also get some reps there. Another setback for a player already battling injuries and a slump.
