Passes Bill To Let Children Run Lemonade Stands & Comcast Plans Company Split

Michigan lawmakers voted unanimously to make it easier for kids to run lemonade stands by exempting qualifying child-run beverage stands from permits, licenses, and fees. Supporters say it protects a classic childhood entrepreneurial activity and removes unnecessary regulation from businesses earning less than $5,000 per year.  Comcast is breaking itself into two standalone public companies: one focused on internet and wireless connectivity, and another built around NBCUniversal, Peacock, Universal Studios, theme parks, and Sky.
