Passing The Baton

from Karura Community Chapel · host Karura Community Chapel

From this sermon, we are reminded that faith is not only something we cherish, but something we intentionally pass on. Like a relay race, every generation has the responsibility to hand over a legacy of Godly values, steadfast faith, and Christlike character to the next. As Paul encouraged Timothy to continue in the sincere faith passed down to him (2 Timothy 1) and as Scripture calls us to never grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), we are challenged to teach our children from an early age to know God, love His Word, and live by His truth. The greatest inheritance we can leave is not wealth or success, but a life anchored in Christ through faith and values that will guide them for a lifetime.
