Passion and Purpose with Laurie McIntosh

Laurie is a mama to 3, wife of 1 and kindergarten teacher to many. She currently teaches a full day, full time kindergarten program for Holy Spirit School Division in Lethbridge, Alberta. Laurie is known as @mrsmacskinders on Instagram and Twitter where she shares her educator journey. Teaching for the past 13 years, she thrives on creating a culture of kindness in the classroom, fostering community collaborations with those who believe in the power of connection and building relationships with learners and their families in unique ways. Laurie is forever grateful for not 1 but 2 appearances as a guest on The Ellen Show in Season 12 where she was recognized for her teaching and incorporating Ellen’s “be kind to one another” motto into all she does. Laurie is currently co authoring the book “Teachers These Days” with the amazing Dr. Jody Carrington and couldn’t be more excited to share her story along with the stories of others who walk this path in early 2021.
