Passion for the Pastime: Crunch Time

We are now at the end of May and still, no deal has been reached between Owners and Players to begin the season. There is still time for a deal to be done, but the clock is ticking. Many of us can imagine baseball not being played in 2020 but its starting to be a bigger possibility with each passing day. A new proposal was made to the Players association and it is not looking promising, with some players speaking out that there may not be baseball this season. Its a bad look in these times to be arguing about millions of dollars, but it is a necessary argument. Baseball must be careful because they don't want a repeat of 94', which turned off baseball for a lot of fans. All we can do is stay hopeful that a deal is done. Its crunch time and the clock is ticking.
