Passion for the Pastime: Two Weeks Left

from Passion for the Pastime · host Walter Icabalceta

Two weeks remain in the regular season and on the biggest sports day in recent memory, with the NFL kicking off. Baseball roars right back into the headlines. Albert Pujols finally reach Mays, after a month between 659 and 660, but he finally did it. But to join him, just like on many of his historic days, is a Chicago Cubs by the name of Alec Mills, who threw the clubs 16th franchise no-hitter on the same day Pujols hit 660. As the regular season of football begins, the regular season for baseball is nearing its end. With two weeks left, many playoff positions are still to be determined. Even while determining the seeds, MLB still needs to determine a playoff bubble format, which could be locked in this week. We will take a look at the latest proposal of the playoff bubble, and where teams will be playing come October.
