Yet many believers are living in a place where the glory has departed because their pursuit has shifted away from Christ. Glory lifts when our covenant with God becomes one-sided, when we honour the gift more than the Giver, and when we stop responding to God’s voice. Like Eli, we can still function outwardly while neglecting what God is trying to heal inwardly. But Ichabod is not the end.
