Pastor Ken Graves - Freedom comes from serving a worthy King - EP19

For the next few episodes we will be showing the main speakers from our Men's conference in January of 2025. First up is Ken Graves. Pastor Ken Graves passionately addresses the congregation, emphasizing their identity as part of God's kingdom and the importance of being proactive in their faith. He urges the men to stop being lazy about engaging with the Word of God, likening it to a buffet where they selectively choose what they want rather than embracing the entirety of Scripture. Drawing from personal anecdotes and scriptural references, he encourages them to recognize their role as bond servants of Christ, illustrating how true freedom comes from serving a worthy King. Pastor Ken highlights the characteristics of men in the last days, as described in 2 Timothy, and challenges his audience to consider the opposite traits they should embody. He uses the story of Nehemiah to exemplify a man who knows his identity and remains steadfast despite distractions and threats. Throughout the sermon, he advocates for a strong understanding of what it means to be a man of God—urging them to transition from boyhood to manhood, and to commit to a covenant of marriage rather than living in a modern, casual state. Ultimately, he calls for a deep immersion in God's Word and a recognition of their divine identity, encouraging the men to step into their roles as leaders within the kingdom of God.
