It’s not transactional; it grows from the fruit of love, asks us to surrender our will, ignore our feelings, and trust God who always initiates. Delayed obedience has a cost, and disobedience disguised in religious language doesn’t just affect us but those we’re called to. True obedience is better than sacrifice, and our yes today can unlock blessings for generations to come, just as Christ’s obedience opened the way for us to inherit the Kingdom.
