Pastors Perspective EP042

We’ll be reading Matthew’s Gospel for Fourth Sunday of Advent, Chapter 1, verses 18-24. In this reading, we continue with an imprisoned John the Baptist asking if Jesus is the one who is to come. Jesus confirms that John is more than a prophet – saying John is a messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way yet there are higher pursuits. Tonight we’ll also pray the Joyful Mystery of the Rosary in honor of Jesus’ childhood. (Christmas schedules did not allow us to get together to record a new show so enjoy this solo episode.)
