Pastors, Politics, and Preaching with Dr. Tom Ascol

Pastor Jeff Schreve welcomes Dr. Tom Ascol, pastor of Grace Baptist Church and president of Founders Ministries and Founders Seminary, for a wide-ranging discussion on the role of pastors and Christians in culture and public life. They discuss pastoral leadership, standing firm on biblical truth, humility, the church’s influence in society, and the importance of preparing pastors to remain faithful under cultural pressure. The conversation also addresses political engagement, upcoming elections, moral issues, the conflict involving Iran, and disagreements between Calvinists and non-Calvinists. Listeners are encouraged to stand firmly on God’s Word, think biblically about the world around them, and faithfully represent Christ.
