Pat Kearns: Recording engineer for Goat Mountain Studio in Joshua Tree

from SoundGirls Podcast · host soundgirlspod

Pat Kearns has been working as a singer-songwriter and recording engineer for over 29 years. In 2015, he and his wife Susan, sold all they owned in Portland to move out to the Mojave desert and begin construction on Goat Mountain Studio, a world-class, fully-solar, destination recording studio in Joshua Tree. Featuring analog gear that’s been traced back to Abbey Road, the studio houses many vintage instrumental and mixing gems alongside the conveniences of digital integration. Since opening Goat Mountain in 2020, the studio has gained acclaim and become a go-to for musicians of all genres. https://www.patkearnsmusic.com/goat-mt.html   Interviewer Host & Producer: Rebecca Wilson Executive Producers: Beckie Campbell & Susan Williams Edited by: Sarah Stacey soundgirls.org  Sponsored by QSC https://www.qsc.com
