Pathways for Paraprofessionals in the Show Me State

In this episode of Apprenticeship 2.0, Joe and Kiko chat with Dr. Reesha Adamnson, Associate Dean of the College of Education at Missouri State University, and Dr. Kristina Smith, Director of Special Education Services at Hollister R-V School District in Missouri. Together, they talk about an apprenticeship model that's filling teaching roles in the district—and elsewhere in the state—and how the model further supports K–12 school and workforce pipeline development. Plus, they discuss how this model differs from traditional teaching career pathways, challenges Drs.
