Patience, Kindness, Goodness

'Love is patient, Love is kind, Love is good…’ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 There’s a line from Paul that says ‘He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6)’ A few verses later Paul talks about how becoming who God called us to be is allowing what He has done inside you to work itself all the way to the surface. He says God is at work in us to fix our ‘want to’ as well as our ‘ability to’ in living the christian life. (Philippians 2:12-13) We're talking about the patience, kindness and goodness that can flow out of the redeemed center of your life—the love, joy and peace that only God can give.
