Patient Family Engagement Council and the benefits that it brings to the community as well as Good Samaritan

In this episode, Katie talks with Cassie Abel, the Director of Patient Experience at Good Samaritan. Cassie has been championing the efforts of patient experience as well as good employee experiences for the past two years. She sits down with Katie and talks about PFEC, a council designed to advocate for our patients. By spreading good news and updates throughout the community, this council keeps community members updated on the goings-on at the hospital, while offering a face for the community to trust with concerns and suggestions. Cassie also talks about her hopes of expanding this council and what the process looks like for those that do.
