PATINA GIBBONS TAPP ...PURPLE PASSION THE REGAL DESIGNER

Born in Miami, Florida youngest of 4 girls. Fashion designer of Purple Passion The Regal Design. Mother of two lovely daughters, Kiya and Shauni and grandmother to beautiful Rat Terrier (Papi).The persistence of faith is evident in Patina for while focusing on her family, she would continually make strides towards her goal of someday entering and making her mark in the fashion industry. Her drive and passion has only escalated as she sees the vision come to life.Patina’s creativity is not just limited to designing fashion. Her roots go deep in music. She comes from a long line of singers and trained musicians. As a young child she grew up in church where gospel music was a great part of her upbringing. In her teens, to her early twenties, she sang with various groups performing at gospel musicals to local church programs, as well as, composing many of the songs for the groups. She discovered her talent as a poet when she wrote her first poem, “I like cats.” From that point on Patina fell in love with the expression of spoken words. Her love for poetry has grown and developed into a skilled poet. Finally, with the encouragement of others, Patina stretched herself and is now writing her first novel. At the early age of seventeen Patina was introduced to public speaking, when she received her license as a minister. She was a co-pastor for four and a half years. Patina’s goal is to inspire, encourage and motivate others to discover their individual God given talents, skills and abilities.
