Patricia Wilson Aden is the President & CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, which leads, strengthens and amplifies the voices of the region's diverse cultural ecosystem—including museums, visual artists, dance companies, community art centers, musicians, historic sites, zoos, and more. Yesterday, March 24th, artists, educators, and arts advocates headed to Harrisburg for Arts Advocacy Day — a push to secure increased investment in the arts from Pennsylvania lawmakers. The day concluded with a press conference at 3pm, which included remarks from Representative Joseph Ciresi, and a performance by the Philly Pops. Patricia joins the show to talk about Arts Advocacy Day, and to also talk about what is at stake locally for arts organizations in the Philadelphia region.
