Patrick J Adams: Keep Exploring and Stay Curious
from 10,000 NOs Hosted by Matthew Del Negro
Patrick J. Adams hit it big with his role as dropout turned unlicensed lawyer Mike Ross in USA Network's TV series Suits, garnering a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the 18th Screen Actors Guild Awards. Despite his thrust into fame in his late 20's, he recounts the lean years and the hard knocks that preceded Suits vividly in this overtly honest conversation. He and Matt talk about drive, ambition and the isolation success can bring when one holds on too tight to results and pins their identity on their professional profile. A father and husband now, Adams has learned to loosen his grip with equally amazing results, including his recent stint as iconic astronaut John Glenn on All the Right Stuff from National Geographic and Disney +. It is not the critic who counts. If you’ve been knocked down... get up, dust yourself off, and get back in the arena.
