She battled with Knoxville Social Dissidents in 2020-2021 against the powerful Knox County Board of Health, ultimately removing them from authority. She unsuccessfully ran for Knox County School Board in 2022 which led her to being a founding member and treasurer of Knox for Liberty. She is also Vice Chair of the reconstituted Knox County chapter of Moms for Liberty.
