Patriots 2026 Roster Moves and Trade Acquisitions

The New England Patriots have initiated a comprehensive roster restructuring as they finalize their lineup for the 2026 season. Key transactions include acquiring running back Corey Kiner via a trade with Arizona and claiming tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau off waivers. To accommodate these additions, the team released several veterans, such as Hassan Haskins and K.J. Britt, while placing others on injured reserve. Furthermore, the organization established its practice squad by signing twelve players to support the main roster. These strategic moves aim to optimize the squad's depth following the conclusion of the preseason and training camp. This wave of activity ensures the franchise remains within the mandatory 53-man roster limit before the regular season begins.
