Patriots Sign Greg Van Roten and Release Mitch Van Vooren

The New England Patriots recently adjusted their roster by signing veteran offensive lineman Greg Van Roten and releasing tight end Mitch Van Vooren. Van Roten brings extensive professional experience to the team, having started over 100 games across several different NFL franchises. In contrast, the young Van Vooren departs after a brief tenure following his collegiate career as a multi-sport athlete. These transactions are part of a broader series of personnel changes and training camp updates as the organization prepares for the upcoming season. Official team media also highlighted upcoming press conferences and special events, including a ceremony to honor former kicker Rob Gronkowski. Overall, the reports focus on the team's ongoing efforts to refine their lineup during the preseason.
