Patriots vs Monarchs Rivalry Renewed | George Mason Patriots Basketball News

George Mason’s men’s basketball team is set to reignite a classic rivalry when they host Old Dominion on Saturday, December 12th — the second game in a three-year series that brings back memories of a storied past. Despite Old Dominion’s historical edge in the all-time series, George Mason has dominated recent matchups, including last year’s win in Fairfax. This non-conference clash is part of a loaded schedule that also includes South Florida and High Point — both last year’s conference champions. With over 60 games of history between these programs, fans are in for a nostalgic showdown. Season tickets for the 2026-27 season are still available — renewals due by July 31st, with new deposits starting at $50 per ticket.
