Patty Blanchard is about to turn 65. After a very successful senior career with many international caps & world masters records and titles, she got the news in January 2021 that none of us wish to hear: she had cancer. This blood cancer became her biggest test yet and she approached it like an athlete, undergoing treatments and having operations like a form of training for the race which was her journey back to recovery. This is a very honest interview and will be of great benefit to us all.
