Send us Fan MailPatty Keating is Executive Director of the HypoPARAthyroidism Association ( HPA - https://www.hypopara.org/ ), an advocacy organization that works to improve the lives of people impacted by hypoPARAthyroidism through education, support, research, and advocacy.Patty comes to HPA as a post-surgical hypoPARAthyroidism patient since 2015. She spent over 30 years in leadership roles within the hair salon business overseeing up to 400 locations prior to taking on the executive director role with HPA in February 2024.  Patty is also a licensed real estate agent.As a patient herself, Patty knew she needed to quickly learn as much as she could about this rare disease to be an advocate for herself.
