Founding Techno-Logik Events and developing local talent like me, Paul Azizeh, to become a valued partner, expanding the company into this amazing podcast known as “TL Sessions”; Wes has already surpassed anything he initially imagined. With his focus on the future, the established label, Techno-Logik Records, and upcoming cutting edge projects like TLVR, he hopes to find new ways to empower Technologists, bringing the music and the people who love it, closer together. He feels it is important to remember that, all of this wouldn’t be possible, without the passion of the audience and their commitment to the music. Every single one of you listening right now, and all of our most sincere fans are the lifeblood of everything we cherish here at Techno-Logik.  This month Wes wanted to recognize that passion with a memorial mix to a very close Friend and an incredible Fan, that recently passed earlier this year. Jeff Avery, known to many as BiG BiRD, made a serious impact on Digi when he first arrived in Washington and always expressed an absolute love for the music, showing unforgettable kindness to everyone involved. His praise and appreciation fueled monstrous dedication, creating a giant’s drive for excellence. Bird’s memorial mix will span decades, genres, lifetimes and is very much like Jeff’s heart, BiG. Big enough to include so many others who also, recently passed, along the way. To honor and respect, mourn and celebrate, dance and reminisce, THA DiGiTAL DRAGON presents his mix, “The BiG that is BiRD” and that will be in the second hour.
