Paul Froggatt: Essence Head Chef on being awarded two stars in New Zealand's first Michelin Guide

The country's only two star Michelin chef has been left speechless over the achievement.  Essence in Queenstown was the only New Zealand venue awarded two stars at last night's Michelin ceremony.  Fourteen New Zealand restaurants received a single Michelin star including Kika in Wanaka, Ortega Fish Shack in Wellington, and Ahi at Auckland's Commercial Bay.  Essence Head Chef Paul Froggatt told Mike Hosking it's a huge honour, and they'll still be striving for excellence.  He says they're only as good as the last plate they served.  LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
